A very sturdy former with dimensions as per the pictures and below. I used this to match the old large radius exactly that existed in our old house so I could replicate in newer construction form.
Works a treat. I did two widths so cut off the outer ends that could be glued or otherwise fixed back on to get a wider arch as per the dimensions. Its on sturdy legs but I mounted it onto masonry supports to get it into the position that I wanted it to be able to take the load above. I used strips of wood to space the bricks stretching across the former but this can be utilised as is however, it would then probably need a flat thin sheet ply addition around the radius. I used it this way so I could do it over two bricks width to form a 20inch / 50cm deep arch. Gives a lovely look whereas the semicircles of a normal former are a little common, shall we say. This will allow you to form the beautiful old inglenook shape curve in your project, which is seldom seen today.

780mm tall minus 20mm at end of extensions N.B. plus 37mm at centre point therefore = 817mm high
