Vintage school desk with fold down top, Idea for space saving. Shelf with lifting front just under the desk top. It has a drop down main desk top which can also be positioned at different angles for a better writing position. It can also be on the fully vertical position. Original brass sliding inkwell on the top. Made from oak with the actual desk top in what looks like a softer pine wood, which still has all the engravings by the kids.

I've never seen any other desks like this whenever I've searched for it online. I've had it for 30 years or so, found it very useful with the fold down top. The eye on the RHS to hold the top vertical using the hook is broken off which was already like that when I got it but it doesn't really affect the top being kept in the vertical position with just the one hook in place on the LHS.
