Vintage Martin Soprano Style O Ukulele 1940s/50s
Am selling a beautiful, solid mahogany vintage Martin Style O soprano ukulele with rosewood fingerboard. Bought from the wonderful, old-school Hogeye Music in Evanston (Chicago) in 2021, it appears to date from the late '40s/'50s based on the original tuners which I replaced with Gotoh geared tuners for a better playing experience. Two of the photos show the original tuners....

Two of the photos show the original tuners. These beauties were made to last and boy do they sound great! I have strung it with new Martin strings and it comes with a new Gator Journeyman deluxe wood case. Condition is very good for its age: no cracks or repairs, just the kind of surface scratches and dings you'd expect from an instrument this age. Open to reasonable offers. |
