Surrealist Chess Set
A hand-carved chess set inspired by Max Ernst's 1944 set for Marcel Duchamp. A unique set in Brazilian mahogany made in 2010. All pieces are weighted with lead and have felt bases. Black pieces are coloured with blackboard paint and all men are sanded and double-coated with polyurethane varnish. The board (included) has squares of 5.5cm (2¼"). Box also included....
