The first drum machine from Sequential Circuits, very similar to other early digital classics like the LinnDrum, Oberheim DMX and E-mu Drumulator. Some of the raw drum samples are actually the same as those in the LinnDrum and Oberheim DMX, as can be seen by doing a byte comparison of the data in the sound chips. Alternative drum sounds are available that can add other sounds. This machine also has MIDI, which those earlier machines didn't originally have.

The machine is fully working and in very good condition, with just a little missing paint from one edge of the metal front panel. It currently has the optional version 5 of the firmware installed, but I also have the version 4 firmware chip as well. I also have the manual describing the extra features of those firmware versions over the earlier versions that were described in the original user manual.
