This is a very high quality piano made by Rippen in Holland in c1985, refinished in our customr ‘Dark Night’ grey colour and with a unique painting, ‘Nocturne', by Norfolk artist Kirsten Riley. It is a beautiful sounding piano and now looks incredible as well. It would suit beginners to advanced or professional players, with a rich and deep tone and a high quality responsive Renner action (as found in Steinway pianos). Note that the new Rippen branded pianos are built in China and not of comparable quality to those made in the Rippen factory in Holland.



Tone, dynamics & tuning

This piano has a lovely rich and deep tone, even throughout the registers, and a very good dynamic range, really lovely to play. Tuned to concert pitch (A=440). Has 3 pedals including middle mute pedal for very quiet practice.


Keyboard & action

The full 88 note keyboard is in excellent condition and the Renner action has been carefully regulated to play smoothly across the whole keyboard with a medium weight action which is nice and responsive - would suit advanced players as well as beginners.



Hammers and strings

Strings in great condition and only very little wear in the hammers.



Sound board

Solid spruce soundboard in excellent as new condition.


Case

A one of a kind piano and one for the art lovers out there. Matching adjustable stool included in the sale.
