HUGE SCHEURICH 284-53 WEST GERMANY FLOOR VASE, UMBRELLA STAND, FAT LAVA JAPANESE MAGNOLIA DESIGN, 54cm tall - 1960s MID CENTURY - NEAR PERFECT CONDITION - REDUCED!

Acquired from an antique dealer in Reims, Champagne, this is an early 1960s West German pottery floor vase or umbrella/stick stand by Scheurich.

Unusual in size, weight and particularly it’s design, which I haven’t seen before, of a Fat Lava textured floral depiction of a Japanese magnolia, it is in near perfect condition.

In excellent vintage condition with just light wear - please examine photographs carefully for condition.

The photos best show the condition of this.

In as found condition having just had a wash.

The glazed textured surfaces are bright, thick, and sound.

There is light wear and the odd firing mark but no chips, cracks or damage and it is still robust and watertight - see photos.

The inside is glazed, clean and sound.

The base is worn but sound.

Measures approximately:
54 cm tall to the spout tip,
26 cm diameter maximum,
Weighs about 5.4 kg.

The wine bottle is for display and not included!
