description	Made by Gibson in Kalamazoo, USA on 27th August 1997 as per the serial number on the back of the headstock. The guitar has served me well for many years at live gigs and in the studio but my playing days are now over so it is reluctantly being sold. The tone is exactly what you would expect from a 1997 Gibson Standard and a dream to play. The Guitar has been well looked after and has always been kept in its original case so is in a great condition. As I don’t use a plectrum I removed the pick guard which is included with original screws (see photo) and a spare pick guard. A Gibson Strap is also included. The Hard Case shows a few small signs of age on the outside and as the original leather handle split it has been replaced with a quality leather handle but the original is included should you wish to have it repaired and refitted. All 5 catches work well to ensure the Guitar is safe in transit. The case is in great condition on the inside. I would prefer collection or free local delivery may be possible but if postage is required I would be happy to discuss all options and costs.
