A true classic! This Peugeot Premierelle from 1989 is the ladies version of the popular Peugeot Premier model, which introduced to road cycling to then of thousands of people over the years.

It looks fantastic in classic Peugeot colours, with a white base and colourful stickers. Welcome back to the 80s! The step-through geometry is even more convenient than the gents version.

Spec is great. Huret shifting, 10 speed. Weinamnn brakes. Dual safety levers. Chromed steel rims. Coterless Solida chainset. Etc. Good solid stuff.

The ride is excellent, as those old Peugeots are famous for. The are pretty fast while being reasonably comfortable. Cycling position is pretty relaxed (for a road bike) and ¡ overall it is the type of bike that puts a smile in your face.

Fully serviced with all bearings done (headset, bottom bracket, front and rear hubs), cables replaced, new saddle, new tape, new brake pads, etc. Ready for many miles.

This bike is original and has not seen lots of use. Even tyres are the original ones which have plenty of tread left. The only changes (apart from consumables like pads, cables, etc) are the saddle and tape, which had seen better days. Replaced by light green items, with a retro style and matching with green stickers in frame. Colourful and fresh!

As normal in a vintage bike it has some imperfections. There are scratches, marks and a few rust spots here and there. Nothing major. Commensurate with a 35 year old bike. If you want an absolute perfect cosmetic condition this is nor for you.

Overall, a true classic. A bike that looks fantastic, has lots of character, is fast, solid, and reasonably comfortable for a road bike. Perfect for fast commuting or leisure... but it is not shy of long trips/touring! =)
