I’m a 41-year-old guitarist looking to form a new band inspired by the sounds of Teenage Fanclub, Idlewild, Roddy Woomble, Wilco, Frightened Rabbit, and Admiral Fallow. If these bands strike a chord with you, I want to hear from you!

I’ve already got a few ideas and demos written, and I’m searching for like-minded musicians who share a passion for creating original music. The goal is to form a collaborative group where everyone is involved in all aspects of the band—from song writing and arranging to live performance and recording.

Whether you sing, play guitar, bass, drums, keys, or something else entirely, I’m open to all instruments and ideas. If you sing and play an instrument, even better! This would give us the opportunity to create multi-layered vocals and harmonies.

Lately, I've been listening to Camera Obscura, Emma Pollock, The Youth and Young, Withered Hand and Death Cab for Cutie.

Who/what I’m looking for:
- Musicians who love folky indie rock and alternative music.
- Experienced in song writing. This would be ideal, as we’ll be creating original material
together.
- Based in Edinburgh or the surrounding areas, with a commitment to regular practices and,
eventually, gigs and recording.

What to expect:
- A laid-back but dedicated environment focused on pushing creative boundaries.
- Writing and performing original songs with strong melodies, emotion, and energy.
- Exploring different sounds, textures, and dynamics as we shape our sound.
