Hi, we're an alt-rock/indie band looking for a groovy bassist.

Ideally a power trio, being able to do backing vocals is a big plus.

I'd say our genre could be summarised as Alternative Electro Indie Pop Rock.

Dark chords, catchy melodies and groovy beats.

The style is quite eclectic. It ranges from 90's Alternative Rock (Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, Muse, Ghinzu, Queens of the Stone Age...) to French Touch (Phoenix, L'Impératrice, Daft Punk, Air, Sebastien Tellier, M83,...). Other names to mention are The Police, Metronomy, Arctic Monkeys, MGMT.

There are two of us on Guitar and Drums. Our previous bassist recently left as he decided to focus on his career. Open to the idea of getting a Synth player down the line. We currently have a 30 minutes set ready, gigged it a few times and want to record demos asap.

Our ideal bassist is someone who can craft funky/disco basslines that drive the groove towards a danceable feel, while keeping the intensity and depth of alt rock. Lots of ghosts note and jumpy lines, not just holding the root note with a pick.

If you're a bass nerd with mad groove or a good bassist that can sing, we want you!
