An Incredibly low mileage grade 4.5B Subaru Impreza Wrx Sti 2.0l Twin Scroll Ts - 1 of 400 cars ever produced , this unicorn is the manual 6 speed STI Ts with the more desired better 2.0l ej20 engine with the twin scroll turbo which got the faster responding turbo upgrade from factory (not to be confused with its little sister A-line automatic 2.5l car Subaru produced) This is the daddy of these 400 special editions ! Here is a little insight into the spec of the Ts model ............. The STI tS loses the massive rear wing, instead sporting a discreet lip spoiler. The carbon fibre roof cuts nine pounds, as does an aluminium bonnet, and ultra-lightweight wheels with a unique design save another nine a piece. Strut brace upfront and the suspension has been reworked extensively. This particular car benefits from a set of Impreza S204 genuine BBS STI WHEELS (which today for a second hand set cost 4 to 5k - yes 4 to 5 thousand pounds !! ) The powertrain was unchanged from that in the Japanese-market STI, a 2.0l turbocharged flat four making 304 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque. There was an automatic version but they get downgraded to a 296-hp 2.5-liter that makes only 258 lb-ft. Called A-Line, the automatic car was significantly cheaper than the manual tS. This one also got the carbon fibre roof ! STI have managed to shave considerable weight off by replacing the regular steel item, effectively lowering the centre of gravity of the whole car, which in turn reduces the roll moment of inertia. Out on the real world this translates to better handling and feel thanks to reduced roll and sharper reactions. The car got much more but all in all here is an incredible grade 4.5B import with a limited number made that only means these appreciate in value ,whether its an investment or a daily driver , these fit the bill in every area.
