The Saab sadly has an oil leak from the Steering wheel, the power steering is not working, it cannot be driven because the wheel is sticking and won't turn left or right and makes a noice if you try to turn the wheel.
The mechanic says the oil leak is cause by a crack in the hose that's leading to the power steering, and that almost all the engine has to be taken apart to fix, though i'm not sure that's necessaryly the case!
Having said all that, there's no problem starting it on first turn of the key, despite it's age, the engine purrs nicely. It's in really good clean condition inside.I think the car may be best suited to either a mechanic, of someone loves restoring saabs, or someone who's good at fixing cars maybe not professionally and has time to fix it. I think there's still some life left in this lovely car, I will admit that i wish i could afford to get it fix, because i just love it!! I always have to keep my eyes on the speed limit because it just flies along the road.
It has no MOT, and the milage is -129 620, 303. Please be aware that you cannot drive it away! Unless you come prepared to patch up the leak and carry extra oil in the boot with you in case you need to top up on you way.
