I've decided to sell my MGB ROADSTER. IT STARTS & RUNS WITH NO PROBLEMS. RECENTLY HAD A NEW cLUTCH & STARTER MOTOR. I PURCHASED NEW PLUGS/DISTRIBUTOR CAP, POINTS & ROTOR. A NEW BATTERY IS INCORPORATED IN THERE TOO. IT COMES WITH LOADS OF SPARES. I USE THE CAR ON A REGULAR BASIS WITH NO ISSUES. IT HAS OVERDRIVE. IT ISN'T SHOWROOM CONDITION, IT COULD DO WITH A RESPRAY AS SOME OF THE PAINTWORK IS FALKY IN PART. THERE IS NO RUST OR CORROSION. THE TACHOMETER NEEDS ATTENTION AS ITS AN ELECTRICAL ONE. IT DID WORK BUT, ALAS NO MORE. THE FUEL GAUGE NEED FITTING IN THE RIGHT POSITION AS IT READS EMPTY WHEN THE TANK IS FULL. ITS A NEW SENDER UNIT, I FITTED IT, BUT I'VE OBVIOUSLY DONE SOMETHING WRONG. IM NOT A MACHANIC. Since reposting, the fuel guage has been replaced & is now working. I have bought a new tachometer & is fitted and now working. I have also decided to have a full re spray and and defects put right if any. When the restoration is completed. I will post the finished job. With photos, the body shop hopes to complete by the end of this week. Ending Friday 22/11/24. It will be basically a new car. No time wasters, no swaps, or part ex's. Paintwork now completed. Ready for sale.
