This is a simply beautiful example of the rare and very desirable facelift MG ZR, the 160 BHP version is the top model and the one to own!...this one is also is the super limited edition colour of Celestial Metallic blue and has the 1/2 leather sport seats fitted. The air conditioning is ice cold!

The car has been owned by an MG enthusiast for the past 10 years and a former Longbridge employee!, he traded this lovely car in against a wonderful MBG we sold to him.

The car drives faultlessly and is a genuine pleasure to take to the roads, the car has had a remap and therefore the performance is shaper than standard (bearing in mind this little hot hatches were rather quick to start with). Otherwise the car remains standard other than a rather expensive HiFi set up by Kenwood and larger speakers in the front and rear (thankfully not mounted in the rear parcel shelf). The wheels are painted in a very dark grey, they would have been silver originally (they are freshly refurbished and look stunning).

We believe the MG branded cars from this era are very highly likely to rise in value and we would tip these cars as a solid purchase for investment purposes (we said these of Fast Fords 10 years back and those mid 90's XR/RS's are now extremely hot property and highly valuable modern classics). The rule of thumb we advise is to buy the best you can afford and this ZR will not disappoint.

The rare colour scheme and excellent bodywork and interior are excellent points to this car, the sensible mileage of just 70k is a real bonus too. This could be a daily driver or a weekend car that would be so much more fun than your modern family [Website URL removed] would look great at any car show in the land and you will get plenty of attention as people will tell you just how much they loved owning one of these back in the day.

The car has been fully checked over and just had the rear disc brakes and pads replaced using quality parts (MOT advisory). The car is a beautiful example and drives extremely well.
