HONDA CBF 250
CAFE RACER

For sale, my project bike. I’ve spent the last few years working on my cafe racer project which started off as a standard Honda cbf250. Runs much better than stock (feels like power of a 400cc bike now) and sounds amazing for its size (more like a much bigger engines bike).

Low seat height and only weighs 130kg so very manageable and hence why it feels so quick (high power to weight). I’m 6ft2 and still fitted comfortably but perfect for smaller people too due to its low seat height.

Reason for sale is that my 17 year old son has just bought a bike and I don’t have room for 4 bikes in the garage so one’s got to go (gutted I’ve had to sell this one but it’s the least used).

Mileage is approx 18,000 miles.
It is mot’d until April.
Serviced in July 2024.
Comes with full Honda workshop manual and user manual too.

So far the list of things upgraded are as follows:
Headlight cowel and mesh guard;
Fork gaitors;
Fork seals and fork oil change;
New clutch pack and clutch springs;
Uprated brake pads;
Braided brake line;
Uprated master cylinder and lever;
Wide black handlebars;
Bar end mirrors;
New electronic speedo and casing (shows low mileage but can supply the old speedo to prove mileage);
Cafe racer seat;
Rear LED light unit;
LED front and rear indicators;
New carbon fibre delkevic stainless exhaust;
Exhaust wrap tape on lower exhaust pipes;
Modern Michelin tyres;
Air box removal and pod filter update;
Stripped and rejetted carburettor to tune inline with exhaust and pod filter;
