So, for those not in the know, this is a basically a rebadged 2006-20010 model Audi A4 avant, with a SEAT front end.
For those that do know, and the more cost conscious, and bargain hunters around,
THIS is an Audi A4 avant, for a fraction of the price of the posh Audi,
Another main dealer part exchange, and this one from a new dealership, we've never used before, a Volvo dealer the other side of Manchester .
And so begins another story, 138 miles, just under 3 hours in this lovely car.
Comfy seats, dual zone climate, cruise control, and almost a half tank of free fuel, what more could you want.
I didn't realise at the time, but on arrival, having a quick look over the latest addition, I found a removable tow bar in the boot, hence the blue bag in the side compartment of the boot and the single electrics socket hidden under the rear bumper !
The car drove really well on the way back, very quiet , very comfy, and sat at a legal speed on the m60, A1 etc,
Arriving with just 86 days left on the mot,
The car has been at my mechanic for the last couple of days, for a new temp sensor, inner steering rack joint, 2 track rod ends, and a wheel alignment, and a mot test, oh and a bill for nearly 500 quid, ouch !!!.
So now sold with a fresh 12m mot, and all good to go.....
- MECHANICAL:
Fitted with the brilliant 2.0 litre diesel VAG group engine, only one down from my favourite engine the 1.9TDI.
This one packs 143 horses, and does pick up well.
No funny noises, NO rattles from the dual mass,
Gets up to temperature well, and basically drives as a Seat should.
Nice and quiet , with no fuss.
There are NO leaks on the car, and the car has been serviced around 8k miles ago,
It now has 12 months to run, so should be good for many coming months......
- EXTERIOR:
The car is finished on a unique dark metallic red, almost looking brown on this over cast day, but on the sunshine does look well.
Ive never seen one in this colour, and quite different to the usual silver and black ones we've sold in the past.
The rear bumper has seen paint at some point in its 15years, in the right light it is a slight shade out, maybe as car park ding, or caught with a trailer, who knows , but that's about it.
The usual VAG group front wings that rust, has been kept to a minimum, only one small patch touched in on the passenger wing.
Apart from that the car does look well.
Even the alloys are in good condition......
- INTERIOR:
The very supportive grey cloth seats are in great condition, only the drivers seat has had a " repair" on the bolster, not by me, honest.
The rest of the seats are ion really good condition,
Shampooed and cleaned, carpets hovered up well, plastics wi[ed and dressed,
All buttons seem to work as they should,
A nice clean place to be.....

- TYRES:
The car has good tyres on it, fronts are 3.5mm, rears are 6mm, spare in good condition......
- RUNNING COSTS:
The car costs £210 to tax for 12m or £115.50 for 6months,
The car does 65mpg on a run, or 37mpg in town.
I managed 57mpg on a run and sat in static traffic both in Preston and on the A1 on the way back...

A lovely, almost unique coloured Seat estate,
Basically an Audi, so great build quality,

The car is located in a small village, 2 miles east of lion city centre.
Great for NO traffic test drives.

Having spent 18 years in the motor trade, owning our own business as a car painter and refinisher, time and mainly my back and knees caught up with me !
So now we source and sell cars direct from the trade we used to work with.
All cars are driven a minimum of 40 miles, so we can assess the creeks and groans.
Most cars ( unless listed as spares or repairs) are sold with a minimum of 6 months MOT, but preferably with a fresh 12 months MOT for peace of mind.
Where possible we source full service history cars.
Our stock changes daily, mainly due to the lower margins we charge to create a higher volume.
I do love the Vw group cars,( VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda ) so you will see a lot of those, plus the smaller engine , cheap to tax and insure cars.
