Previously sold by us back in 2021, this Beetle has been part exchanged by a returning customer who has taken good care of this car - It is now my job to find it another good home, and a new owner who will love and cherish it as before. We are even happy to include this cars private plate in the sale (but we can remove this on request if you would prefer the original 08 registration.
The Beetle convertible is a fun and quirky drop-to that is actually surprisingly practical to own. This is because the Beetle is based on a VW Golf, which is no bad thing. It may look retro but this is a thoroughly modern car which shares the Golfs legendary reliability and frugal 1.6 litre engine. Performance is excellent and economy is also impressive, averaging 36mpg overall and 40mpg on the motorway. The ride comfort is excellent and there is VW's superb stability and traction control which aids the handling and stability. Despite the relatively small engine, I found the 1.6 model to be a lively performer with good acceleration through the gears and barely any noise intrusion. All the controls feel precise and well engineered - This thing feels as though it has been built to last. I would personally recommend the 1.6 version of this car - In my opinion it offers the best combination of performance and economy of all the petrol models and , unlike the Diesel version our 1.6 Luna is ULEZ compliant. On all road surfaces I found the Beetle to ride very well. The suspension seems to soak up any road imperfections up with ease, and all the seats are comfortable yet supportive.

Finished in deep, glossy blue this is a stunning looking car that is superbly presented and mechanically A1. Overall this is a superb example, of a well maintained Beetle and the car shows no signs of any adverse wear or mis-use. Of course it is a used car so there may be the odd stone chip if you look incredibly hard but all in all I find it hard to fault this car in any way - it has obviously been very well looked after by its previous keeper who purchased the car in 2021 from us - The car still looks and drives as well as it did when I delivered it to her and the car is an absolute credit to her loving care. During the 3 1/2 years since I delivered it, this car has only done 2,300 miles - So it came as no surprise that this car is still in great condition. The coachwork is bright and straight with a deep shine. The interior is immaculate with very little sign of any wear. The seats and interior trim are odour and stain free and there is no notable wear to any switchgear or door cards. All the electrics have been tested and are working perfectly. All in all this is a fantastic example of a truly great car. We welcome any trial or inspection.

If you require delivery you only need to pay the £100 deposit or the delivery charge up front (whichever greater). The balance is not paid unlit you have seen, test driven and are totally satisfied with your new car.
Wherever possible I would appreciate you can take delivery, or collect your car within 7 days as space is at a premium. However I understand that this is not always possible and can hold cars longer by request.
