***** EVO Vi EXTREME UK CAR LIMITED EDITION NUMBER 20/26 EVER PRODUCED ****** The Lancer Evo VI Extreme was produced to celebrate the models continued rally success at the hands of Tommi Mkinen, and features a Ralliart-blueprinted engine with a competition-spec crankshaft, connecting rods, and forged pistons, as well as high-lift cams, a competition head gasket, a reprogrammed ECU, aluminium and titanium turbocharger components, lightened valves, revised suspension, a higher-ratio steering rack, paddle clutch, and AP Racing brakes. This example is finished in a timeless shade of silver with a gloss dark grey front splitter, rear diffuser, side skirts, and rear spoiler, over a black cloth and synthetic suede-trimmed interior, featuring front Recaro bucket seats, and a carbon-fibre-effect overlay on the centre console. It rides on the correct set of 18-inch Work alloy wheels, shod in Bridgestone Potenza tyres. The factory specification includes a Mitsubishi-branded Momo steering wheel, centre console-mounted temperature, boost, and battery voltage gauges, a digital clock, air conditioning, electric windows, and electrically adjustable door mirrors. The engine, drivetrain and suspension have been upgraded, including a fully forged engine with the rotating assembly balanced to 0.5 grams, a GT3076 HTA turbocharger, a Motec M800 ECU, a 65mm throttle body, Piper cams and pulleys, a mushroom air filter, braided fuel lines, Cusco Racing front and rear strut braces, a Cusco oil catch can, and electrically adjustable Tein suspension. Inside, the cabin now features front Sabelt racing harnesses, a Tein electronic damping force controller, an Apexi actuator valve controller type-r, a removable stereo unit, and a dashboard-mounted VDO oil pressure gauge, The car will be supplied with its original Extreme service booklet, warranty booklet, owners booklet, and some maintenance and parts invoices, This Evo VI Extremes most recent major service was carried out in August 2021 at 54,595 miles by WH Auto Solutions, which included new spark plugs, an engine oil and filter change |
