Finished in menacing Jet Black and sitting on shadow chrome alloy wheels, this rare Mitsubishi GTO MR Twin Turbo must be one of the finest, most original and lowest mileage GTOs in existence.
The GTO MR was originally launched in 1994 with the MR moniker standing for Mitsubishi Racing and was only available in the Japanese market. The GTO MR was essentially a lightweight GTO Twin Turbo that deleted 4WS and Active Aero but was mechanically identical to the normal GTO Twin Turbo, with the AWD system splitting to power 45% front 55% rear. To identify a genuine MR the chassis number must start with Z15A.The Twin Turbo GTO is powered by a silky smooth DOHC 24v V6 which produces producing a not inconsiderable 276bhp and 308ft lbs of torque mated to a slick shifting 6 speed transmission. Recently imported by us, and originally registered in 1998, our GTO has only covered 34,000 miles (54,000 km), from new and looks almost factory fresh with unmarked panels and deep lustrous paintwork, whilst the stock alloy wheels are unmarked. Whilst it might be a bit of a cliche, this GTO really does present in fantastic all round condition with the interior being a particular delight being unmarked and still smelling like a new car. Accompanying the car is one of the most comprehensive service histories that we have encountered with services being carried out at the following intervals. 1694km, 2303km, 5075km, 5825km, 8187km, 11875km, 19028km, 25971km, 31357km, 45608km, 50995km, 52242km & 53790km. We also have the original hand and service books together with the spare keys. Despite the MR being the lightweight version, this Mitsubishi comes very well specified with a tilt / slide sunroof, climate control, electric bolster adjustment for the figure hugging seats and electric folding mirrors. We are confident that upon inspection this GTO will satisfy the most discerning of buyers and welcome prospective customers to fully inspect the car in our workshop, where they can raise the car on our ramps and marvel and the immaculate condition of underside which is as clean as the top half!

We buy well so you’re not at risk
The buying team comprises seasoned motor industry professionals: our backgrounds span retail sales, fleet management, auction, wholesale, and service, inspection and maintenance. Having grown up with, driven and loved countless classics ourselves, we know what our customers look for: models and marques piquing current market interest; examples that are in excellent usable condition and order; and vehicles that represent a sound, good value investment.
An online portal search for any classic model will list several hundred vehicles across the UK. The unfortunate truth is that the vast majority, under scrutiny, will prove sub-standard, misrepresented or require uneconomic restoration or repair. Finding a good vehicle without motor trade experience is not for the faint-hearted.
We purchase our cars from private owners, collections and specialist auction houses. We are exceptionally selective about which vehicles we buy, when and why; we reject over 90% of all those we see. Those we purchase match varying customer demands: ‘best in market’ and fully original; fully or partially restored examples; and sound, practical, fun classics to be driven and enjoyed.

Warranty:
We want every customer to be confident in their purchase. Whilst we sell nationwide, many of our sales are local, with some customers revisiting to buy, sell or service more vehicles.
To ensure a worry-free motoring experience, we include our own pre-owned vehicle warranty and provide full servicing and support on-site.
The price of every car includes a six-month warranty for major component failure: engine, transmission, and final drive. For the first three months, it covers the cost of any essential parts and labour. Thereafter we provide a 50% discount on any essential parts and labour for the remaining three.
We also operate our own on-site workshop offering specialist classic vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs. The same mechanics that inspected and prepared your vehicle for sale will be delighted to keep it in good working order throughout your ownership.
