1991 Lancia Delta HF Integrale 8V Kat. Rosso Monza with striped grey cloth / alcantara upholstery. The Integrale HF 8V Kat (catalysed) version was specific to the German and Swiss markets. Assembled in 2700 units, it integrates the chassis and design evolutions of the 16v, but keeps a classic 8V block, which still develops 177 hp, which was still substantial at the time for a compact car. The car is recognizable by its bulging bonnet, redesigned to accommodate the 16v block, which is aesthetically pleasing. This original Swiss example comes from long term ownership and has covered just 108,000 kilometres (67,000 miles). After occasional use the car was taken off the road in 2006 in Switzerland where it remained in storage until being imported to the U.K last year. Since arriving lots of work has been undertaken to bring the car upto the standard you see today. The engine was removed and stripped and found to be in excellent condition, the oil pump was replaced as a matter of caution and the crank sent for polishing and new bearings. The clutch, all belts including timing belt, water pump and bushes were also all replaced. The paintwork was refreshed in its original Monza red with a photographic record of the work. The wheels were fully refurnished with new Toyo Proxes fitted and new brake discs and pads. It has Koni suspension and Apec springs fitted and a Supersprint exhaust system which are an upgrade on the standard car but aside from this it remains a totally standard car with even the Kat still in place. A fresh mot was applied in March with no advisories. The Delta has always won over enthusiasts with its sporty character and timeless look. Today, it is an increasingly sought-after icon on the market that is a tough rally bred car that deserves to be driven. The folder for the car contains the original dealers wallet and books as well as some Swiss and U.K paperwork and two sets of keys. Absolutely any inspection welcome.
