With us at RFH Classics we have this charming 1974 (M) Morris Marina 1275cc Auto finished in Mirage Grey and featuring a very distinctive Red Leather interior that was re-trimmed by a Rolls Royce upholsterer. The car is great condition and has recently been serviced and MOT tested with bodywork that presents well and is very solid.

Inside the once standard vinyl trim has been re-trimmed to a very high standard in luxurious Dark Red Leather with a contrasting Red Wool carpet. The work was done a number of years ago but as to be expected with a quality job, it has stood the test of time very well. To complement the leather the dash was trimmed in a wood effect making the whole interior feel very special. The retrim of the interior was extended to the boot which now has a matching Red wool carpet. On the dash you find an early 1970’s compass, this was fitted by one of the previous owners who was a squadron leader in the RAF and we now affectionately refer to a the very early equivalent of today’s modern sat nav !

Under the bonnet the engine bay is probably one of the cleanest available on the market today. Power is provided by the 1275cc 4 Cylinder engine that is running lead free and paired to very smooth Automatic transmission. Automatic classic cars don’t come up that often with ones as nice as this being even more unusual. The car has just returned from having a service, a brake overhaul and a fresh, no advisory MOT test so is ready for use by its new owner. In the office we have a good history file that accompanies the car to its new home including old MOT test and receipts as well as a selection of spare parts that are also included for the new owner. In summary this is a very period mid 70’s classic car in great condition that is rarely seen on the road nowadays.

This Morris is now MOT exempt due to its historic status, but as already stated, is supplied with a Nov-25 test included in the screen price. Additionally, the car comes with a 3-month major mechanical warranty for peace of mind. This Morris is eligible for zero rated Historic car tax and also ULEZ charge exempt making for a very cost effective car to own and maintain with the advantage of low cost classic car insurance. All our vehicles are sold clear of finance or insurance damage with a certificate provided on handover. We always recommend premium unleaded fuel for all of our classic vehicles.
