This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a prestigious institution, supporting a portfolio of research awards. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality post-award management support to academic departments, ensuring compliance with funder terms and internal financial policies. Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of research awards, ensuring adherence to funder terms and financial regulations. Provide expert guidance and support to Principal Investigators and administrative staff for post-award financial and administrative activities. Prepare, reconcile, and submit expenditure statements and invoices in a timely manner. Monitor project budgets, identifying variances and advising on resolutions. Liaise with collaborators and partners on research projects, managing financial documentation and payments. Support project audits and ensure compliance with funder requirements. Ensure effective working relationships across departments and external funding bodies.Skills and Experience: Proven experience in post-award research finance administration. Strong knowledge of funder rules, regulations, and financial policies. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in financial database systems and the ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
