Adept are delighted to be working with a leading casting manufacturer based in Rotherham, currently seeking a skilled Patternmaker to join their dynamic team.

This is a perfect opportunitity for a candidate looking for a varied role.

SHIFTS - Perm days

SALARY - 26,000 - 32,000 DOE

Duties & Responsibilities:

Receive pattern assembly instructions from the Design Department.Confirm the pattern manufacturing process, including options such as SLA patterns, Styrofoam patterns, and sand-printed moulds.Produce patterns based on the route card issue number and revision number.For Styrofoam patterns, create CAM tool paths using Autodesk Powermill.Transfer the CAM tool paths to CNC machines in the Pattern Shop and manufacture the parts.For SLA patterns, set up the SLA build.Perform post-build cleanup for SLA patterns.Manufacture running and gating systems either manually or using CNC machines, following the route card and assembly instructions.Assemble patterns along with running and gating systems, preparing them for the ceramic mould department.Ensure patterns are measured by the CMM department before assembly.Operate the 3D sand printing machine.Clean and prepare 3D sand-printed moulds for casting.Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) when required.Maintain a high level of housekeeping.Additional duties as assigned.
