The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Manufacturing Project Manager?

Support Programme Managers and Manufacturing Management to deliver projects/contracts on time and within budget.

Manage stakeholder relationships, including internal customers, to ensure project progress is accurately reported and any issues are communicated back to manufacturing.

Plan, facilitate, and provide ongoing support to large-scale contracts throughout the product lifecycle.

Develop and maintain key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including key subcontractors.

Ensure accurate project performance reporting and communicate project/programme requirements to cross-functional teams to meet delivery targets.

Assist in preparing and maintaining risk and opportunity plans/budgets for contracts.

Play a key role in tendering and bidding activities to support future business acquisition.

What are we looking for in our next Manufacturing Project Manager?

A proven Project Manager with experience delivering fixed-cost programmes of significant value in a matrix organisation, ideally within an engineering or production environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and drive multi-functional teams to meet tight deadlines.

Enthusiastic, proactive, and tenacious, with the ability to prioritise both strategic and day-to-day operational needs.
