Vibe Recruit are working with a leading British manufacturer of quality metal ceilings and bespoke architectural metalwork in the Bridgend area. They design and supply commercial ceilings and interiors and produce suspended ceilings for a vast range of spaces, for all matter of public and private clients across the world.

We are looking for experienced RTITB accredited FLT drivers, who have worked in fast paced busy warehouse and production environments.

Shift Pattern

Mornings, 6am – 2pm

Afternoons, 2pm – 10pm

Nights, 10pm – 6am

Candidates will need to be flexible to cover all three shifts. You will also need to complete a successful 3 week training induction, during this time the shift pattern will change to days regular.

Payrate

Training rate: 13.18 per hour

Mornings: 14.50 per hour

Afternoons: 15.55 per hour

Nights: 17.53 per hour

Responsibilities

Operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.Load and unload materials, ensuring safe handling and proper securing of loads.Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage shipping and receiving processes.Assist with heavy lifting as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.Collaborate with warehouse staff to maintain an organised storage area and facilitate efficient operations.Qualifications

Proven experience in driving, preferably within a warehouse or logistics environment.Strong skills in materials handling and equipment repair are advantageous.Familiarity with forklift operation is highly desirable.Basic mechanical knowledge to assist with vehicle maintenance tasks.Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment.Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Vibe Recruit is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
